Hello again FAST swimmers and families!

• This is your final reminder to sign up for Monday night's HOME meet against Rainbow Forest. Here's the sign-up link: FAST vs Rainbow Forest - July 6, 2026. Even if you are unable to attend, please mark your swimmer as "Not attending this meet."
  • As usual, don't delay signing up! If you do not sign up by the deadline (midnight TONIGHT), you will not be able to swim.
• Volunteers: Thanks to everyone who has already signed up. We still need Lane Timers, Line-Up Parents, someone to do Heat Ribbons, and one person to help with Concessions Sales. You can sign up here: FAST vs Rainbow Forest - July 6, 2026 Job Assignments.
  • NEW! We are also asking for some helping hands to assist with Meet Set Up and Meet Clean Up.  Please help out if you can! Sign up at the same link above.
• Junior Makos Night: We will host our Junior Makos race during this meet! This year the race will be at the beginning of the meet! Please email Lori Rife by TODAY if your swimmer plans to participate.
  • At 5:55 PM, Jr. Makos should meet at the front entrance of the pool. We will walk them together to the starting block area and get them lined up for the race.
  • The Jr. Mako race will take place at the beginning of the swim meet.
  • A Senior Swimmer will be in the water with your swimmer throughout the entire race to help and encourage them.
• Senior Night: This meet will also be our Senior Night!  Before event 42, our two senior swimmers, Eva Andrade and Walker Kobek, will head to blocks 2 and 4 for their “last lap!” Congratulations Eva and Walker!
• Meet Pizza! Domino's Pizza is available for pre-order for Monday night's HOME meet!  Orders must be placed by 11:00am on meet day (Monday), and will be available for pickup around 5:45pm at the pool. Make sure to print out your receipt or have a copy on your phone.  Place your order here: FAST - Meet Night Food. Note that in order to remove the default Pepperoni Pizza, you must first add another item.
• Theme and Ice Cream: Our theme for Monday's meet is "Swim Cap Decorating."  Ice cream after the meet will be at Outside the Cone in Wyndhurst.
• Team Breakfast: All swimmers are invited to the Team Breakfast on Monday from 9:30-9:55. This week we will be having a bagel bar! Donation sign ups are open here: Meet Day breakfast #5 Bagel Bar - July 6, 2026 Job Assignments.
• July 4 Forest Lakes Pool Party!  Celebrate the Fourth of July with us at the Forest Lakes Pool! Come out, have fun, and enjoy an afternoon of games, swimming, and family fun. Kids will have opportunities to participate in games and earn some great prizes! We hope to see lots of our Jr. Mako families there!
• Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!  In case you didn't notice, it's HOT outside, folks!  Please make sure your swimmer is hydrating all weekend, and especially on meet day!
